Mpho Mashile (CA) SA

Mpho Mashile is the CFO of Newzroom Arika, a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with over 20 years of experience spanning multiple sectors, including financial services, engineering and the built environment, auditing, accounting and tax consulting, broadcasting, and the chemical industry. Over the past 12 years, he has held executive leadership roles, where he has led high-performing teams across 13 African countries as well as the United Kingdom, demonstrating strong strategic, financial, and operational leadership on a continental and global scale.

An entrepreneur at heart, Mpho founded his first construction business in 2004 and has continued to build and grow successful enterprises ever since. He currently leads five companies: Mashile Investment Group, Fortify Accounting and Tax Services, Mashile and Matlala Supplies, Areyeng VIP Lounge & ShisaNyama, and Mashile and Associates Plumbing Services, which also supports construction activities across his ventures. Deeply passionate about community development, Mpho is a co-founder of Tswelopele Foundation, a non-profit organisation based in Alexandra Township where he grew up and served in leadership for over seven years. This passion for social impact continues to influence his business philosophy, with many of his ventures intentionally designed to create employment, uplift communities, and contribute meaningfully to local economic development.
